STEP 1: DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL
Note, Shutterkeep is only available for Windows at this time. Download and install Shutterkeep's "Online Backup and Recovery Manager" which you will use to setup backup schedules and recovery files when necessary. After installing sign in with your email address and password. If you don't already have an account, sign up here!
STEP 2: SELECT THE FILES TO PROTECT
Select which files and folders you'd like to schedule for backup. You can also select files to be watched by Shutterkeep's LiveProtect feature which protects files continuously - more information and instructions here.
Running along the bottom of the screen is a bar showing how much space in your account you will take up with all of the files you selected.
Once satisfied, click NEXT.
STEP 4: SETUP YOUR BACKUP SCHEDULE
Here you select the options for your backup schedule. You can set the schedule to run hourly, daily or weekly with great flexibility. If you want backups to only run within specific times of the day, choose a start and end time under "Timing."
You can have the application send an email report each time a backup occurs (we recommend setting up a filter/folder in your email client). If you would like to send the report to more than one person simply separate email addresses with a comma.
Once satisfied, click FINISH and you're done!
